Field Based Position –  Must reside near a Major Airport 

Position Summary:

The Performance Process Consultant position requires the incumbent manage and execute on-site and remote initial delivery of CDK software, application, and business process consulting and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing Fixed Operations and exercise discretion to ensure that the CDK configurations align with client business requirements

  • Become an expert on CDK Retail software and retail applications.

  • Based on business experience and knowledge, make best practice recommendations for CDK configurations and/or client business processes to maximize client utilization and business results.

  • Confer with client and CDK on best practices utilizing CDK solutions.

  • Interact with, and train, assigned clients regarding CDK solutions.

  • Work with peers and other project colleagues to achieve project results.

  • Mentor other on-site associates to help them grow their knowledge and broaden their expertise.

  • Separately, and with key management, review Performance reporting, comparing to benchmarks/goals for process and business improvement opportunities.

  • Act as an advocate for clients within CDK.

  • Maintain a high level of awareness of current automotive business trends and best practices.

  • Evaluate dealership knowledge and their current level of process and product utilization

  • Ability to consult with client’s staff at all levels.

  • Work individually or partner with colleagues to identify process workflow gaps and create solutions.

  •  Advise on best practices that drive dealership efficiency, system utilization, margins, sales, productivity, and revenue

  • Complete paperwork and documentation in the designated timeframe

  • Support strategic and operational improvements with CDK team.

  • 100% Travel

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience with demonstrated success in retail automotive industry with expertise in Fixed Operations.

  • At least 2 years experience with demonstrated success in retail automotive management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Office products.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to transition to working remotely with clients.

Salary Range: $62,000 to $80,000
