Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is currently seeking an Integration and DevOps Lead to join the team. This position will be based on-site in Melbourne, FL.

The Integration and DevOps Lead is expected to be a highly motivated self-starter with a strong background in Systems Engineering and DevOps practices. This role is aimed at overseeing and managing integration activities, facilitating technical reviews, and implementing a robust Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach. This position requires expertise in managing technical baselines, configuration management, and supporting engineering status reporting. The Integration and DevOps Lead will work with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to complete tasks relating to defining integration requirements, understanding program deliverables, and supporting the development, deployment, and sustainment of program integrations across all networks.

Responsibilities and expectations include:

•  Develop and maintain the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).

•  Manage and facilitate Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events, including A/C configurations.

•  Conduct Systems Engineering Technical Reviews and assessments.

•  Define and monitor Technical Performance Measures.

•  Host and support the Government program office and the Independent Technical Risk Assessment (ITRA) Team.

•  Prepare and present Engineering Status Reports.

•  Implement and manage broad MBSE practices, including the technical baseline repositories, such as Cameo and DOORS.

•  Oversee the Statement of Work program baseline management.

•  Maintain and manage the Hardware/Software Configuration Matrix.

•  Track and report on Requirements Metrics.

•  Execute Iteration/Release Planning (IFC Management).

•  Develop and maintain the Technical Data Package.

•  Work closely with DevOps Application Integration Engineers to ensure seamless data flow and integration across systems.

•  Strong communication and collaboration skills.

•  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications:

•  Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master of Science Degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of experience.

•  Experience in Systems Engineering and DevOps practices.

•  Experience with systems and software integration.

•  Experience with managing and conducting technical reviews and assessments.

•  Knowledge of MBSE tools and practices.

•  Must have an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an interim Top Secret prior to starting, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Experience leading engineering teams.

•    Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

•    Experience with Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP) and Technical Performance Measures.

•    Familiarity with Cameo, DOORS, and managing technical baseline repositories.

•    Knowledge of Iteration/Release Planning and IFC Management.

•    Proficiency in preparing and presenting Engineering Status Reports.

•    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

•    Experience with configuration management and Hardware/Software Configuration Matrix.

•    Experience supporting Government program offices and technical risk assessments.

Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
