What You’ll Do

The Screen Team Coordinator assists with developing, coordination, implementing outreach activities including health fairs, community screenings, executive physicals and other marketing functions that promote Freeman Health System. Works independently with minimal supervision.

  • In collaboration with Supervisor, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive community health screenings and education programs.

  • Schedules, plans, arranges appropriate staff, helps coordinate and conduct community health fairs, screenings, educational seminars and events.

  • Problem solves effectively, keeping supervisor informed of issues and outcomes.

  • Performs follow-up with patients, as needed, on abnormal labs and screenings providing needed education.

  • Performs diagnostic testing included in health screenings.

  • Assists with set-up and tear-down of health fairs including: displays, informational materials, and screening stations.

  • Communicates effectively with supervisor and Screen Team staff.

  • Works with other departments to develop programs to meet the community health screening and education needs.

  • Oversees and coordinates staff at Screen Team events.

  • Ability to use Screen Team data base for patient needs.

  • Maintains AHA Training Center Faculty Instructor and Administrator status. Assists with AHA Training Center needs as per direction of AHA Training Center Coordinator.

Requirements

  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 365 days.

  • AHA BLS Instructor within 365 days.

  • Clean driving record.

  • Current Missouri Class E or other state's equivalent driver's license.

  • Current Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.

  • Must pass DOT physical.

  • Safe Sitter Instructor certification within one year of hire.
