The Sr Associate is an SME with business domain and products knowledge, analytical skills, and structured approach to define requirements, create the functional design, and validate the systemic capabilities, and processes. The person knows how to operate in the most efficient and secure IT environment and meet the company's business needs. The role will work with stakeholders to discuss, understand, and translate the business needs into IT solutions. The person will ensure that the business and IT are in alignment by linking the business mission, strategy, and processes to IT strategy, and architecture.

The role is accountable for functional design, and for collaborating with Architecture and Solutions team within the Payments and Commercial eco-systems: front end, Payments Processing, and vendor products. The scope covers Commercial / Treasury Solutions roadmap including upgrades and enhancements to vendor products and bank software for payables, receivables, and liquidity products. The responsibility also includes the data and system integrations, in support of the end-to-end business processes.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Acts as internal subject matter expert on the designated deployed technology solutions to facilitate business process changes and re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency.
  • Provides analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing and developing solutions systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Leads the development of business requirements, functional designs, process maps, and assists in creating user test plans.
  • Identifies potential problems, resolves conflicts, and updates IT senior management regarding business management progress.
  • Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact.
  • Maintains full knowledge of all phases of technology implementations aligned to their user community; apprises business management of progress; keeps IT management aware of issues and potential problems, and resolves conflicts.
  • Works in conjunction with senior leaders in other functional areas to ensure that program launches, scope expansions and the development of new business capabilities are supported and delivered within the business architecture.
  • Contributes technical and operational knowledge and understanding of applications to training programs, support documentation, and operating procedures.
  • Develops presentations, dashboards, reports, and other team project communications and documentation.
  • Adheres to the change management process for all changes made to system components by creating specifications in a manner that allows for notification to affected parties and recovery from the change in the event it is necessary.
  • Provides primary interface with vendors to evaluate, implement, address, and coordinate new releases, patches, regulatory compliance and serves as the point of escalation during outages or periods of degraded software performance.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business Administration, management information systems, computer science or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree Pref


Work Experience:

  • 9+ Years Analyzing business requirements and support information systems projects or related experience.

  • Ability to use analytical skills to identify key stakeholders impacted by changes and understand their influence and authority levels.
  • Strong critical / analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to include scenario-based analysis and use case driven documentation.
  • Ability to utilize tact and knowledge to resolve issues, train on specific policies and procedural guidelines.
  • Ability to identify risk, probability, impact and how to mitigate risks.
  • Excellent facilitation skills for meeting management, and requirements workshop planning and management.
  • Ability to elicit questions to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder’s needs, and that lead to an understanding of the business need rather than what they want.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the use of presentation skills and the ability to create a requirements package.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player; leading the group to address complex problems, thinking outside the box, and driving to best solution.
  • Ability to identify current capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize various modeling techniques such as, process modeling, data modeling, system modeling.
  • Understands interface analysis, technology infrastructure and how it interconnects, including sharing data to achieve a business goal.
  • Ability to know how a user interface helps the user to successfully complete a task, also known as usability.
  • Advanced knowledge and skill in Microsoft Suite products.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Facilitates and maintains stakeholder confidence in the decision-making process.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$117,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$160,000.00 USD
