JR51740 Director, Corporate Development

Responsibilities included but not limited to:
•    Partner with senior executive leadership, at both the corporate and subsidiary levels, on M&A and Venture Capital strategy development, target identification, and prioritization of opportunities.
•    Identify and evaluate potential M&A, Venture Capital or partnership opportunities including assessing strategic fit, business value, and value-creation opportunities.
•    Lead cross-functional teams in due diligence efforts and integration planning.
•    Actively develop relationships with potential target company owners and managers to support those efforts mentioned above or expansion strategy execution.
•    Lead evaluation of current operation for increased beneficial opportunities
•    Scans environment for business opportunities, maintains surveillance over market, and may perform financial analysis of acquisition or investment candidates.
•    Prepare acquisition proposals, recommend financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implement and maintain strategic and operational plans.
•    Along with executive management, drives the execution of strategic and corporate development initiatives, including the deal management process.
•    Assesses new business/technology opportunities and potential impacts and formulates strategic recommendations.
•    Prepares and delivers presentations, key industry data and timely analyses and to senior management, business unit leaders and major partners.
•    Validates prepared financial data and related financial models in support of targeted opportunities.
•    Other duties as assigned.

•    Detailed knowledge of financial analysis and business valuation
•    Detailed knowledge of strategic analysis
•    Demonstrated direct experience in transactions
•    Confirmed ability to perform independent business assessments
•    Proven ability to perform due diligence
•    Excellent negotiation skills
•    The incumbent must possess both written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills
•    Self-motivated with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
•    Ability to work independently and make independent decisions, while working in an environment with a high level of ambiguity. 
•    Excellent inter-personal skills
•    Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, tact, discretion, and initiative
•    Strong analytical, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills
•    Successful experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in a team environment

Qualifications and Requirements:
•    STEM field-based Bachelors’ degree
•    MBA strongly preferred
•    Minimum of 8+ years progressive experience related to M&A, Venture Capital, financial modeling and analysis, deal structuring and negotiation, and strategy
•    Multiple languages a plus 
•    Dual Education in different countries a plus 
•    Work experience in different countries a plus
