Job Description:

Strategic Sourcing Manager, Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats (MCDT), fixed-term contract 18-months

Location: UK – Hybrid working model, minimum 2 days per week in the Slough office.

Salary: £58,500 - £69,000, annual bonus, benefits

About Us:

MCDT is a UK-based Mars Wrigley unit focused on growth in new snacking categories through co-manufacturing partnerships.

The Role:

Lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and innovation to drive MCDT’s long-term success. Collaborate cross-functionally and manage key stakeholder relationships.

What are we looking for?

  • Significant procurement experience, delivering innovation and sourcing strategies.

  • Strong financial acumen and communication skills.

  • Proven relationship-building ability with suppliers and stakeholders.

  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing & Category Management.

  • Willingness to travel (~20%, mainly within Europe & UK).

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop & implement sourcing strategies to meet business goals.

  • Manage supplier relationships, quality, service, and cost efficiencies.

  • Identify, negotiate, and qualify new co-manufacturers.

  • Drive continuous operational improvement and compliance.

  • Ensure risk management across IP, quality control, and finances.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and regional teams.
