About the Role
• This role will generate actionable insights from GCDM metrics reporting and Local Business Unit customer data to address strategic challenges in our business, such as net customer growth, repurchase behaviour and O2O optimization. This role will also support the development of segment based customer propositions (product and incentives) that will enable effective customer acquisition and repurchase efforts.
• The role will support the Director in the evaluation of customer campaign and partnership performance and providing guidance to LBU in optimizing financials and pricing of customer and distribution incentives and products.
• The role will support the Director in marketing commercial and providing guidance to LBU in this aspect, ensuring the commercial elements are competitive.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Marketing Commercial: Support the development of viable economics and competitive commercials for partnership deals and campaigns, ensuring sound financials and competitive pricing, commissions and incentives are set for partner and distribution.
- Marketing Proposition: Evaluate rate adequacy with Product and Actuarial to strike the right balance between proposition relevance and profitability. Gather both internal (e.g. claims, commissions, CLTV data) and external (e.g. industry profitability, market share) data to support tailored pricing in order to achieve optimal customer acquisition and repurchase.
- Data Visualization: Apply data visualization tools and techniques to build engaging and interactive reports that facilitate understanding and decision-making processes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through data validation, cleaning, and verification processes.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc data investigations and analyses to address specific business inquiries and provide timely insights and recommendations.
- Business Insights: Explore and glean insights from customer and marketing data across AIA (Group and LBU) to pinpoint critical areas for management attention and action.
- Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models, data mappings, and data dictionaries to support reporting and analysis needs. Continuously assess and refine data models to improve efficiency and results, providing insights and updates to management to engage BUs optimally
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in business intelligence and data analytics, and propose innovative solutions to improve data-driven decision-making processes for marketing conversion
Minium Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or Post-Graduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Statistics with 10 years’ experience in life insurance, preferably in product development and pricing
- Proven experience in effectively developing viable propositions and overall financials for customer marketing campaigns
- Knowledge in actuarial product pricing methodology and financial modelling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to optimally collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in English with strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey sophisticated information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance tracking, and using metrics to measure channel effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
