Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract, Bid, and Proposal Management Specialist Professional to join Hitachi, Ltd. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful acquisition of new business and the effective management of our contractual agreements, focusing on compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic advantage.

Job Responsibilities**

Proposal Creation: Develop customer-specific proposals that include both technical and commercial elements, and draft contracts. This involves adhering to the company’s tendering policies and applying technical expertise in substation, Ebos, BESS and Power quality solutions. Tasks include analyzing customer requirements, designing tailored solutions, preparing detailed cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Tender Processes: Learn and utilize tools and processes for managing proposals, such as the Go-No Go process and Risk Review guidelines.

Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, project management, finance, and legal, to gather necessary information for bids.

Work effectively with Front End Sales and other Sales/Business Units to create value for customer and drive negotiations until Contract signing.

Customer Value Creation: Offer customer-specific service solutions to create value, and drive negotiations until contract signing.

Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and address any concerns from clients or internal teams.

Compliance: Ensure all bids comply with client requirements and company policies.

Bid Strategy: Develop and implement effective bid strategies to increase the chances of winning.

Document Review: Review all bid documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.

Your background

Education: Minimum B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 5 to15 years in Substation, EBOS and BESS tendering.
