Contractual Demand Generation Manager

Description -

The US HP Channel Manage Print Services Demand Generation Manager, drives aggressive growth across the office contractual print space with our innovative products and solutions.  Enabling the HP Channel MPS print program partners with their ecosystems to align with HP’s digital evolution with strategies, programs, and resources that drive demand and profitable growth with our collective customers is critical. The North America Print Category team is part of the global print business unit. The team provides leadership in implementing and actively providing business development programs, promotions, pricing, and products to our MPS channel program partners that have high impact on business outcomes. The HP MPS Channel Demand Generation Manager’s primary function is to act as an HP contractual print demand generation consultant alongside HP’s MPS Copier Channel partners to create opportunities and support that drive customer demand for the HP contractual print products and solutions.

Responsibilities

Working with US HP Channel MPS Partners and HP MPS Partner Business Managers:
• Work in conjunction with the HP MPS Partner Business Manager. Develop 6-month tailored marketing & sales enablement plans for HP MPS partners. Drive activation of those plans and measure effectiveness and ROI. 
• Responsible for HP P360 plans for assigned partners.

• Oversee entire US Channel MPS MDF budget. Create a regional allocation plan in collaboration with sales. Ensure effectiveness for overall spend. Publish macro-overview for how dollars are spent and where the funding is going each new fiscal half. Build ROI plans for any incremental budget requests and effectively communicate desired financial outcomes. Have an expert  working knowledge of HP MDF terms to compliantly spend funding. 

• Build an expert working knowledge of HP marketing tools, assets, and content. Consult with partners to drive utilization of those resources to create demand and preference for HP contractual print solutions.

• Align with internal HP marketing teams on new requests for the development of critical assets and tools within the Channel MPS space. Function as a subject matter expert through the development process and ensure desired outcomes. 

• Plan and execute branch level-events  in partnership with HP sales lead, effectively spending and tracking opex investment.   

• Educate partners on best practices for maximizing benefits of HP marketing and sales tools. 
• Become a trusted co-marketing and enablement advisor for assigned partner accounts.
• Define, manage, and own key performance metrics associated with plans.
• Utilize market data insights to develop strategic marketing plans to drive demand generation.
• Prepare executive reviews, quarterly business reviews, and other key performance indicators back to HP sales and Print Category management teams.

Knowledge and Skills

• Brings a deep understanding of channel program model requirements and ability to adapt them within the HP context.
• Has copier and managed print experience and understanding of how to drive preference with partners and customers. 
• Demonstrates ability to lead effectively in a complex and global environment and deliver results; and to influence strategic direction while incorporating key HP stakeholder perspectives.
• Embodies a strong work ethic and results-oriented approach with exceptional executive presentation, communication, and project management skills.
• Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently.
• Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
• Established communication skills at an executive-level, middle-management level as well as to external stakeholders and partners.
• Digital savviness relative to market dynamics, relevant solutions, and deployment and measurement
• Excellent analytical thinking & data analysis, critical thinking skills, good business and financial acumen.
• Independent worker and self-starter.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications; Master’s degree preferred 
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience within marketing development, channel enablement, and business communications
• Copier industry and partner experience preferred.
• Direct experience with channel partners

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $146,950 to $226,300 annually, with a 80/20 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
