RESPONSIBILITIES

The Facilities Operations Manager is primarily responsible for managing facilities operations at NPR’s headquarters building in Washington, DC and liaising with the managers and employees at various NPR facilities across the country to ensure uniform and timely delivery of services consistent with established policies and procedures. This position collects and maintains all facility records and operations and budget data and reports key data to stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry certification(s) in Facilities Management and/or related disciplines. 
  • Management of mission critical technical facilities
  • Management of Class A office facilities from 100-500 thousand square feet
  • Project Management
  • Supervisory experience with a large diverse staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accounting/budget preparation education or experience
  • CAFM, CMMS, CAD experience 
  • Supporting 24/7 media production facilities
  • BCP/DR planning and testing
  • Contract Administration

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

  • College degree or commensurate work experience combined with continuing education related to core job functions

WORK LOCATION

  • On-site: This is an on-site role based in Washington, DC .

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency
  • Google Docs proficiency

JOB TYPE

  • This is a full time, exempt position.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: The U.S. based anticipated salary range for this opportunity is $90,000 - $97,850 plus benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salaries NPR expects to provide for new hires for the position across all US locations.

Benefits: NPR offers access to comprehensive benefits for employees and dependents. Regular, full-time employees scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are eligible to enroll in NPR’s benefits options.
