Job Description:
Join Pitney Bowes as a Quality Assurance Engineer

Impact
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud-based offerings. You will be deeply involved in leading the validation of the SaaS based offering including collaborating across the organization with Architects, UX experts, product managers and other software developers. You will use your expertise in building automation test framework to do sanity of the product. You are expected to be hands on and up to date with the latest technology stack. If this type of

The Job
Design, create and maintain automated test cases and determine priority for the test cases and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features.
The candidate should be able to work independently to identify test cases/test scripts from requirements and map test cases/scripts back to the original requirement
Understand business objectives and build alignment and buy-in cross-functionally.
Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into manual and/or automatable scenarios.
Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor & guide the junior developers in the team
Qualifications & Skills Required
The role requires a talented, self-directed, and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field
Around 2+ years overall Software QA experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience with test automation
Experience in developing and implementing automated test cases for web applications
Exceptional ability to develop maintainable test automation solutions using Cypress
Experience with Selenium
Experience working with relational/NoSQL databases like MongoDB
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman
Experience in integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
Additional Skills
Proficient understanding of Gitlab, CI/CD, DevOps practices
Knowledge in network architecture & server administration
Having the knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular 16+ and NodeJS is a plus.
Great attention to details and Organizational skills
