Are you a seasoned leader with a background in process automation or cybersecurity, ready to step into a managerial role in a fast‑growing and highly impactful domain?
As a Manager in Industrial & OT Cybersecurity, you will lead teams, guide clients strategically, and help protect critical infrastructure and industrial production environments. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and make a tangible impact in one of the most rapidly evolving areas of cybersecurity.
What You Will Do
As a cybersecurity leader, you will accompany clients across multiple industries in securing their industrial control systems and production processes.
Your key responsibilities include:
Client advisory & delivery leadership
You support clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Automotive, Energy & Utilities, Pharmaceutical & Chemical, and Oil & Gas in securing their control systems and operational environments.
Problem solving & solution development
You identify, assess, and address complex cybersecurity challenges, developing solutions that require in‑depth analysis and evaluation of multiple technical and business factors.
Domain expertise application
Depending on your background and experience, you will focus on one or more cybersecurity domains, including:
Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
Cloud and IIoT security
Threat detection and response
Network security
Vulnerability and patch management
Team and engagement management
You manage medium to large teams and/or workstreams, either at client sites or within Accenture, ensuring high‑quality delivery and team development.
Security assessments & remediation
You conduct security maturity assessments for industrial automation and control systems (IACS), develop security concepts and risk mitigation strategies for ICS and OT environments, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
End‑to‑end client support
You guide clients through remediation phases, from assessment and design through to implementation and transition into service readiness.
Strategic OT cyber defense
Clients rely on your expertise not only for IT/OT convergence initiatives (e.g. secure digital factories), but also for defining and executing long‑term OT cyber defense strategies.
Sales & business development support
You contribute to the sales process by preparing client presentations, proposals, and proofs of concept, helping shape compelling cybersecurity offerings.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & education
Degree or equivalent in a technical field
Minimum 7 years of experience in process automation, industrial technology, and/or cybersecurity
Leadership & autonomy
Ability to influence outcomes and work independently
Strong decision‑making capability, including the ability to design work plans and deliverables with limited supervision
Analytical & problem‑solving skills
Proven experience identifying and resolving complex problems that require deep analysis and evaluation of variable factors
Standards & regulatory knowledge
Knowledge of relevant industry frameworks, standards, and regulations such as:
IEC 62443
NAMUR
NIST SP 800‑82
BSI IT‑Grundschutz / KRITIS
ENISA / NERC CIP
Certifications (nice to have)
GICSP, GRID
IEC 62443 (IC32–34, IC37)
CISSP, CISA, CISM, ITIL
Industrial background
Background in industrial engineering and operational technology
Understanding of requirements and constraints in safety‑instrumented systems (SIS) is an advantage
Collaboration & communication
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Willingness to travel as required
Language requirements
Fluent in English
Dutch language skills are highly preferred
Dutch‑speaking candidates will be given priority
