How you’ll make an impact

  • You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for defined material groups within the service business unit to achieve availability on time, cost savings, quality, and service level objectives.

  • You will lead the procurement process for defined material groups, including identifying and selecting and developing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance.

  • You will manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with contractual terms.

  • You will conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential risks.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and project management to ensure procurement activities align with business requirements.

  • You will drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • You will ensure compliance with Hitachi Power Grids policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree or above or equivalent in Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.

  • Required more than 3 years of working experience.

  • Proficiency in languages: English & Japanese, other of advantage.

Working hours: 900-1730 (1hr break). Flex time is applicable.
