Sr. Supervisor, Test Engineering - Product Development

Job Description

ADI’s Wearable and Prosumer Solutions Business Unit is looking for a Sr. Supervisor, in test product development at our Philippines location. The candidate will successfully lead the Product & Test Engineering (PTE) activities for the development of mixed signal audio edge processors and battery management power products. The candidate will also drive the pre & post-silicon phase of the product development through all phases of silicon development from DFT to silicon bring up / characterization to high volume production. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and will have demonstrated experience in testing both Digital and Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) Products, working with cross functional teams like Design, Bench Eval, PD, etc., with ability to collaborate with ADI global teams and offshore subcons. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conception and definition of innovative and efficient test planning for the product in close collaboration with our design teams and Design for Test (DFT) team.
  • Development of the ATE software solutions as per the specifications.
  • Execution of the Test development phase of projects including Silicon functionality, Characterization, Qualification, Yield Analysis, Correlation & Offshore Production release on time.
  • Design of innovative, reliable, and efficient Probe and Test solutions on high performance digital & mixed signal ATE platforms (93K, Ultra-flex) for multisite parallel testing.
  • Supervise, technically guide, and participate in hiring of team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Digital & AMS Test Development
  • Hands on knowledge of ATE software development and working knowledge of Teradyne Flex (IG-XL, VBT based) and/or 93K ATE systems.
  • Have good analytical & statistical skills and knowledge of Python/C++ programming.
  • Experience in ATE hardware design & layout for both digital & AMS products with lead skills in understanding the problems/limitations in hardware development.
  • Experience in releasing multi-site test programs to offshore production test houses.
  • Well versed with the usage of bench equipment such as Oscilloscope, VI-meter, Signal generator and analyzers.
  • Capability of working with the reliability engineers on product qualification.
  • Be self-motivated, and willing to accept responsibility.
  • Ability to mentor and train the juniors if needed.
  • Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be a team player.

Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time.
