Who we are looking for:

Technology Platform, Engineering & Operations (TPEO) is looking for a highly motivated technical senior leader for our IT Configuration Management services. The ideal individual will have significant experience in Service Now solution set, Secure baseline as the platform centralizing ITIL practices of Configuration management.  This leader will develop a technical and support services team to enable all functions of enterprise Configuration Management starting with Securing baselines, and broadening to all configuration items for the bank.

What you will be responsible for:

You will be working directly with enterprise subs and affiliates and corporate IT engineering, network, end-user experience, infrastructure, and operations teams to help carry out strategies. You will lead the configuration management Enterprise Process areas, predominantly with a strong security knowledges set with the potential to include technical delivery of configuration management programs and large initiatives. This role will also be responsible for significant regulatory and service improvements in tracking and reporting applicable metrics, controls and governance methods.

It is essential you have strong end-to-end program configuration technical experience working with a large portfolio of projects that support a complex organizational environment, at an enterprise scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing technical secure configuration baselines established across the full IT Taxonomy, inclusive of technology, processes, and people in a large, federated organization with multiple stakeholders and conflicting requirements.
  • Prior experience in mature infrastructure technologies (e.g. Service Now, Flexera, CMDB PowerBI, and cloud service asset configuration processes).
  • Prior experience leading and building teams focusing on technical delivery at an enterprise caliber.
  • Prior experience of implementing and maturing Service Now modules, including ITSM & ITOM.
  • Prior experience of building and leading teams in a geographically dispersed organization.
  • Ability to manage large projects and priorities within a rapidly changing Organization focused on Transformation at Scale, and the need for tight configuration management practices.
  • Ability to manage highly regulated discussions, workloads in a very control-oriented focus.
  • Ability to lead Enterprise Process Ownership (EPO) for the enterprise, establishing full program execution as the single point of contact for updating the bank and executive team the progress, risks, and control metrics on progress and status.
  • Independent strategic thinker with an understanding of large-scale IT Asset management, development of services and strong service delivery with the highest quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including the influencing of executives.
  • Responsible for all team control functions, processes, documentation, and strategic direction.
  • Assist team to manage, prioritize and drive milestone deliverables on a daily, weekly and Monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with other Engineering leaders, and EPO’s within the team to align cross dependencies and track resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with other Engineering Managers to maintain an integrated roadmap of key Milestones per workstream/initiative.
  • Ability to influence teams from other teams in application for Code vulnerabilities, infrastructure configurations (eg port and protocol) and secure config baselines.
  • Adhere to SSBT internal compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Support any financial tracking per workstream/initiative.
  • Managing the entire configuration process to ensure escalation processes are developed communicated and maintained throughout the CMDB, an associated tools.
  • Managing suppliers and stakeholders, and 3rd party providers of services to deliver on the configuration management functions.
  • Collaborate with team on new ideas and process improvement to help deliver projects more efficiently.
  • Assist, track and ensure sign off on any Statement of Works to deliver responsible projects.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in service delivery of configuration management supporting large scale infrastructure programs, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $282,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
