Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of DevOps Build Analyst with degree/certification in Information Systems/DevOps and/or ITSM framework.  This resource will Support development and maintenance of CI/CD processes for application deployments. Manage, monitor, and optimize automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Effective communication skills are important at every point of a change project.
  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Design and maintain automated deployment systems.
  • Recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability.
  • Support development and maintenance of CI/CD processes for application deployments.
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments
  • Will be part of an OnCall rotation that provides 24x7 management support for Incident and Communication activities
  • When serving as an OnCall Manager, you will be expected to engaged the necessary technical resolution team, and drive remediation

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

Performs additional duties as directed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Analyze and Execute forward schedule of changes and identify potential collision
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings with Release Management and/or Change advisory board (CAB) to discuss higher risk changes
  • Co-ordinate with internal/ customer stakeholders for any adhoc activities
  • Leverage reporting tools like excel to log and share meaningful insights
  • Ensure user verification /sanity checks are performed post deployment
  • Responsible for conducting pre-deployment and post-deployment checks
  • Participate in change deployment calls and act as a control/governance body
  • Experience and working understanding of environment management and version control.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
  • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley and establish/follow procedures for compliance and management of separation of duties
  • Working knowledge of ITSM framework and Configuration Management tools (i.e. ServiceNow)
  • Experience and working understanding of change control process, approvals and common automation leveraged to register changes

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel
