The team is part of the larger Private Markets technology team, composed of over 100+ engineers operating out of the USA (United States of America), Europe, and India. All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with focus on quality and high performance.

Job Description

Are you a critical thinker who is passionate about delivering quality solutions to demanding clients? As part of the Private Markets iLevel team, you will participate in a fast-paced Agile development team, building SaaS financial applications. Your main responsibilities will be translating software requirements into test cases, exploratory testing, and designing, analyzing, and executing automated tests for web, excel, and mobile based software solutions.

You will be working in the Private Markets iLevel team. Our team focuses on creating portfolio monitoring solutions for investment managers of all shapes and sizes. The team is located around the globe with members in the United States, across Europe and India. We deliver high-value, high-impact solutions to the world’s most demanding, high-profile clients.

iLEVEL is a key application of the Private Markets toolset set built with cloud native technologies (AWS), responsive React front ends and C# microservices to collect, calculate at high capacity and visualize private market investments. These components are distributed through a modern, fully automated CI/CD pipeline to serve a high availability toolset to customers around the globe.

Core responsibilities

  • Translating software requirements/stories into accurate and complete test scenarios, including identifying the detailed test data needs, with a commitment to deliver high quality releases
  • Collaborating with end-user, technology, and operational functions of the business as part of a globally integrated delivery team
  • Creating automated tests for both UI and API testing, executing automated regression tests and analyzing the results
  • Removing roadblocks, escalating risks, and working in a fast paced and highly interactive environment
  • Conducting integration, stress, performance, scalability, and/or load testing
  • Being a member of the Scrum team, you will not only contribute to the technical architecture and implementation, but also to team efficiency initiatives and culture.

Your expertise

You have

  • 3+ years of experience in C# or Java development
  • Experience in test case automation using an existing test automation framework based on keyword-driven approach
  • Strong experience using Selenium WebDriver, Postman, and MS UI Automation
  • Proven experience translating software requirements/stories into accurate and complete test scenarios, including identifying the detailed test data needs
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Experience with Integration, stress, performance, scalability, and/or load testing

It is a bonus if you also have

  • Experience in automated Excel testing
  • Experience using MS Test, or MS Interop Excel
  • Experience using Postman
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • A team player
  • A problem solver
  • Strong communicator and negotiator
