We are hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician, Central Pharmacy Services

Location: Bay 116, 10725 25 Street NE Calgary, AB, T3N 0A4

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct product verification on CPAKs and vials prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery 
  • Responsible for checking products in an organized and efficient manner to maintain workflow and ensure delivery routes leave at their scheduled times 
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is protected in accordance with regulations 
  • Keep current with and align with legal requirements, professional standards, and where provided, workplace policies and procedures 
  • Commit to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
  • Work with various forms of automation, such as Count Assist, Parata max, VBM robots
  • Perform Quality Assurance to meet business needs
  • Assist in store communication via email/fax/phone


What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 year of continuous work experience as a pharmacist in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital or Retail)
  • Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
  • Experience with high volume filling environments an asset
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Must be able to complete work with minimum supervision
