Responsibilities/Accountabilities 

We’re looking for an experienced professional to support the Retail and MSME Deposits team in managing day-to-day operational activities, regulatory and industry engagements, and campaign fulfillment. This role is responsible for driving effective coordination across stakeholders and overseeing the timely execution of operational and industry-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s operational standards and business objectives.

Operations and Industry Engagement

  • Represent the Bank in industry working groups, forums, and roundtables relating to Retail and MSME deposit products.

  • Coordinate internal responses and follow-ups arising from industry engagements.

  • Track action items and ensure timely submission of deliverables to regulators and industry bodies.

  • Maintain documentation and updates on industry developments relevant to deposit products.

Daily BAU Oversight and Coordination

  • Support the day-to-day operational oversight of key deposit-related schemes and frameworks

  • Attend regular working group and committee meetings, including monthly forums involving multiple active tracks.

  • Monitor operational deliverables and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.

  • Oversee the submission of regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and timelines

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (digiOPS, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Product, Technology) on implementation matters.

  • Escalate issues, risks, or delays in a timely manner.

Campaign Fulfillment and Execution

  • Support the execution of Retail deposit campaigns and initiatives.

  • Coordinate campaign setup, fulfillment tracking, and issue resolution.

  • Monitor campaign performance and ensure operational readiness.

  • Maintain records of campaign activities and support post-campaign reporting

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a globally recognized university. 

  • 3–8 years of relevant experience in banking operations, product management, or financial services.

  • Experience supporting deposit products, payment schemes, or regulatory and industry engagements would be advantageous.

  • Prior exposure to coordinating with internal stakeholders and participating in industry or regulatory forums is preferred.

  • Good understanding of banking operations and industry frameworks relevant to Retail and MSME deposit products.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment in day-to-day decision-making.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to task management.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear updates, documentation, and reports.

  • Proactive, dependable, and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

  • Strong stakeholder management - to be able to interact both with external stakeholders (eg: partners, vendors) as well as internal stakeholders across the bank (including senior management)

  • Able to embrace and thrive in a VUCA (volatile/uncertain/complex/ambiguous) environment
