The International Logistics Coordinator manages the export process to Agropur's international markets. This position works closely with sales, manufacturing plants, quality assurance, warehouse and freight vendors to coordinate international shipments. The International Logistics Coordinator acts as the primary contact for customers in their region for registration, planning, export documentation needs, as well as all customer service requests. This position plays a crucial role in delivering goods to foreign buyers/customers.

  • Salary scale 003: $61,400 to $76,800 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

  • Manage logistics shipments, including order entry in SAP.

  • Manage, update, and maintain logistics information in internal systems for greater accuracy.

  • Work closely with internal departments (sales, quality, inventory) to meet customer expectations on shipping deadlines and customer expectations.

  • Manage export trucking schedules to meet customer expectations.

  • Manage and make decisions regarding Agropur's carrier group, and continuously challenge existing rates with new carriers to obtain the best costs for logistics needs.

  • Verify the accuracy of supplier invoices.

  • Have knowledge and understanding of the export process to maintain submission and verification of information in compliance.

  • Prepare, validate, and submit export documentation to ensure customs clearance and customer payment through various financial payment conditions (letter of credit and cash against documents via the bank).

  • Resolve issues and make decisions regarding shipments and carriers, provide updates/changes to all parties involved.

What you need to join our team: 

  • Bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management or other relevant training.

  • Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in a similar role.

  • Possess relevant experience, preferably in the food industry.

  • Proficiency in computer tools such as Excel and Word.

  • Proficiency in French, English, and Spanish (spoken and written) to collaborate with our international clients and colleagues.
