Job Summary: The DevOps Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of applications. This role involves collaborating with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to automate processes, improve system reliability, and optimize the software development lifecycle. The DevOps Engineer will focus on streamlining the deployment process and ensuring that systems are scalable, secure, and resilient. Key Responsibilities: • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure that deployments are efficient, consistent, and reliable. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources across multiple environments. • Automation and Scripting: Write scripts and develop automation tools to reduce manual processes, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency across environments. • Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring and logging tools to track the performance and health of applications and infrastructure. Implement alerting mechanisms to detect and resolve issues proactively. • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of code. Collaborate on defining best practices for development, deployment, and monitoring. • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices in the DevOps processes, including managing access controls, monitoring security vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements in scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness in cloud environments. • Incident Response: Participate in incident response efforts, troubleshoot issues in production environments, and work to minimize downtime and service interruptions. • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures. • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest DevOps tools, trends, and best practices. Propose and implement new technologies and processes to improve the software development lifecycle. Required Skills: • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure management. Experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is required. • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in CI/CD tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). Strong skills in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Security: Knowledge of security best practices in the DevOps lifecycle, including secure coding, vulnerability management, and compliance with regulations. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly. • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and services (e.g., serverless, managed Kubernetes). • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications and infrastructure. • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies and practices.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus.
