Enterprise Global Supply Chain is looking to hire an IT Asset Management Analyst. This position will be responsible for engineering license management for Manufacturing and Engineering systems.

This position will be virtual and can be performed anywhere within the continental United States.

The successful candidate will be comfortable learning complex technical architectures and adapting to the changing landscape of IT Services. Concepts such as concurrent licensing, cloud-based marketplace and Software as a Service will be a big part of this software licensing manager’s day to day activities. The successful candidate will be able to perform software license management across a diverse landscape to include on premises servers, externally hosted servers, clients, various license management infrastructures, SaaS, etc. The successful candidate will have knowledge of either Manufacturing software systems, Engineering software systems or ideally both Manufacturing & Engineering systems. The successful candidate will have general knowledge of procurement processes and understand how to interpret purchase orders, SKUs, End User Licensing Agreements, and other procurement related documentation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Research, document, and brief how specific licensing models for a given publisher are used by NG as well as how other licensing models could be used by NG to realize more value for our software spend

  • Communicate effectively with buyers, sub-contract administrators and support personnel in both Corporate and the sectors to understand what NG’s total entitlements are for a particular publisher

  • Research and understand which entitlements for a particular publisher correlate to measured consumption

  • Determine how best to leverage a particular publisher’s various licensing models to best meet the demands and architectural profile of NG’s M&E community

  • Focus on process improvements, automation opportunities, cost savings/optimization

  • Implement methods of reporting and monitoring to track complex licensing models

  • Establish and monitor expectations to achieve company and department goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in IT, Engineering or related field OR Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in IT/Asset Mangement or Procurement Services

  • Experience Supporting complex IT infrastructure and Cloud

  • Knowledge of asset management practices and principals

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Ability to balance competing priorities

  • Experience using Flex Net Manager suite or similar SAM tool

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CSAM Certification preferred

  • Familiarity with IT structures and configurations preferred

Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
