What would you do? Underwriting & Consultant Support: Provide operational and documentation support to Underwriting staff and assist consultants with document-related requests. Interface with internal departments to resolve documentation queries and support interdepartmental coordination. Policy & Plan Document Review: Perform end-to-end review of policy documents and adoption agreements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review and prepare documentation for legacy group products, including TDA, SEP, SIMPLE, NAV Trusteed plans, Group Annuity plans, amendments, contracts/certificates, riders, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs). Individual Annuity Document Processing: Perform quality control reviews for individual annuity products. Prepare required cover pages and supporting documentation for contracts, including state-specific requirements (e.g., WA). Regulatory & Compliance Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams such as Legal, State Compliance, Loans, Actuarial, Billing, and Employer Records to ensure documents comply with applicable pension and state regulations. Support system development and document updates to align with new legislation and regulatory requirements. Document Management & Systems: Upload and index documents into administrative systems accurately and within defined timelines. Maintain document integrity, version control, and audit readiness through proper indexing and recordkeeping. Client & Internal Requests: Handle requests for specimen individual annuity contracts. Process requests for copies of issued contracts, certificates, and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
What are we looking for? Functional expertise in U.S. retirement plans, including both Defined Contribution (DC) and IRA. In-depth experience in Individual Document Issuance, encompassing the preparation, review, issuance, and ongoing maintenance of individual and group product documentation in support of underwriting, consulting, and operational teams. Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end document review, quality assurance, regulatory alignment, and system uploads to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely issuance of contracts and plan-related documents. Hands on with developing process documentation (SOP), capturing exceptions, process flow, process maps, and NIGO rules. hands-on experience in document issuance, policy administration, or insurance/retirement operations Strong understanding of individual annuity and legacy group product documentation Subject Matter Expert/ Trainer with 2+ years of experience in remote transitions, developing quality checklists, performing RCA, and developing action plans to improve quality performance. Mandatory experience in 401(k) and/or 403(b) plan administration Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Inbound and Outbound voice support experience required
