Our team is the Payment Pricing & Billing Centre of Excellence, and we are responsible for:

• Leading pricing strategy & governance across the Payments Domain
• Identifying and addressing pricing and billing incidents
• Reviewing and updating procedures, disclosures, and customer collateral
• Representing the Payments Domain in Business Bank pricing and billing initiatives
• Strengthening Payments’ pricing and billing standards and practices for new and existing products

Do Work That Matters

As the Senior Manager for Payments Pricing Strategy & Insights, you will have responsibility to drive P&L and strengthen pricing governance.  In this fast-paced, high exposure role you will:

• Lead pricing strategy & governance for Payments, collaborating with Product Managers to ensure alignment across the Payments Domain
• Optimise revenue margins and costs, ensuring consistent application of pricing principles across Payments Domain
• Generate and communicate pricing and portfolio insights, including providing support on P&L analysis and data analysis on risk issues and incidents
• Build reporting dashboards, benefits tracking, and prepare business cases
• Manage external pricing consultant engagements and activate recommendations
• Work with other COE members and wider Payments Domain to identify and implement improvements (productivity, customer experience, revenue, and culture).

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience in payments pricing strategy, governance, and analytics is essential. Experience in Payments products and systems, and pricing new products will be highly regarded.
• A curious and strong problem-solving mindset who fully considers end-to-end how Payments works
• Exceptional numerical, written and verbal communication who can translate data to drive pricing strategy, and proactive detection of portfolio and client change in behaviour
• Proven discipline in prioritisation in a fast-paced environment
• Risk mind-set and advanced awareness of Finance, Analytics, Pricing and Operational processes and controls
