The Sr. Project Analyst will lead the continuous improvement of portfolio management and governance processes, tools, and metrics.  Serve as a change agent and strategic liaison to the function.  Collect, process, analyze and report data and guide the function on change management considerations.  Assist in determining project priorities and timelines to meet all goals and complete deliverables on time.   Focus is primarily on improving financial tracking of investment and benefits realized across the organization.  This role also serves as part of a bigger team responsible for strategic programs across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Enable and manage a governance capability to continuously review and improve time tracking processes and tools to ensure timely and accurate CAPEX reporting. 
  • Enable and manage a governance capability to capture and evaluate new CAPEX project requests. 
  • Design controls and systems to evaluate and report on compliance across the organization. 
  • Enable metric reporting that proves the process improvement efforts and facilitates management reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve challenges and recommend solutions. 
  • Facilitate delivery of workshops and training to operationalize changes.
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics and roadmaps. 
  • Facilitate alignment between process, tools, and metrics.
  • Lead, facilitate, and influence cross-functional teams within the organization.  

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ensure timely compliance with training completion/documentation. 
  • Oversee project management of strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Collaborate in the prioritization of strategic projects.
  • Manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous and evolving business environment. 

What we look for:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 

  • 10+ years with hands on experience leading corporate process transformation initiatives. 
  • Knowledge of software development accounting standards related to CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Experience in life sciences, medical device, technology services, and/or clinical trials preferred. 
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior executives and internal stakeholders. 
  • Track record of delivering change through influence without direct authority. 

Qualifications & Skills Needed: 

  • Proven experience leading process improvement efforts across functions with little authority.
  • Excellent reporting, presenting, communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to lead change and drive organizational transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; preferably in Finance related roles.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
