Job responsibilities

The Cash and Bank Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all bank accounts and cash transactions. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, identifying discrepancies, and supporting audit and compliance requirements.

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
• Monitor cash balances and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external banks to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all reconciliations and adjustments.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to cash and bank accounts.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Continuously improve reconciliation processes and tools for efficiency and accuracy.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in bank reconciliation or general accounting.
• Experience with automated reconciliation tools.
• Knowledge of banking operations and financial regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Analytical and problem-solving approach.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
