Senior AI Software Engineer

About the Role.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of AI platforms and standards. This position focuses on building foundational capabilities that enable scalable, secure, and efficient AI solutions across the enterprise. You will work on cutting-edge areas such as Agentic AI, Generative AI and leveraging cloud-native architectures with modern orchestration frameworks.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement platform enablers that accelerate AI adoption, including reusable components, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Develop and deploy agentic AI systems, ensuring they are robust, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with model providers and ecosystem partners to evaluate, integrate, and optimize large-scale models for diverse use cases.
• Establish best practices and standards for AI development, deployment, and governance across multi-cloud environments.
• Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and translating them into practical solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

This is a highly technical and strategic role requiring deep expertise in AI/ML engineering, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern AI frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that AI solutions are not only powerful but also scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver AI platform capabilities that enable scalable, secure, and reusable AI solutions across the enterprise.
• Develop and deploy agentic AI systems that incorporate reasoning, planning, and autonomous workflows.
• Design and optimize large-scale model training and fine-tuning pipelines, leveraging distributed and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Integrate and manage models from multiple providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock) to support diverse business use cases.
• Establish and enforce AI engineering standards, including security, compliance, and governance for multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, cloud, security, product) to align platform capabilities with strategic objectives.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in AI architecture, agentic systems, and generative AI development.
• Drive innovation and evaluate emerging AI technologies, translating them into enterprise-ready solutions.

Must Have Skills

•  Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in building agentic AI systems and orchestration frameworks.
•  Strong knowledge of model providers and ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Experience creating platform enablers (APIs, reusable components, integration patterns) for AI solutions.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization for AI workloads.
• Programming Knowleadge in Python and familiarity with modern AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, etc.).
• Ability to define and implement standards for AI development, deployment, and governance.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and large-scale model training.
• Proven track record of designing and deploying AI solutions in production environments, ideally within cloud-native architectures.
• Experience building AI platforms and enablers, including APIs, orchestration frameworks, and reusable components.
• Strong background in distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), including security and compliance considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy, mentor engineers, and establish best practices for AI development and governance.
