The purpose of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is to lead the company's information technology strategy, execution, and governance. This senior executive will set the IT vision and roadmap, optimize our digital infrastructure, and drive innovation across the organization. The CIO reports into the SVP, Chief Financial Officer and will work closely with executive leadership and business units to ensure technology solutions align with Bristow's strategic goals, support operational efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with Bristow Group’s business objectives.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to modernize operations and support sustainable growth.
- Assess and leverage emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
- Lead the development and implementation of scalable, cloud-based infrastructure and software solutions.
- Explore and deploy advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and data analytics to improve service quality and decision-making.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize digital initiatives and deliver value through innovative solutions.
- Enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and data integrity.
- Oversee cybersecurity measures to protect the organization’s assets, data, and operations.
- Develop and manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure management, applications, and service delivery.
- Drive process improvements to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
- Ensure optimal performance of the IT environment through strategic vendor management, robust SLAs, and continuous monitoring.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
- Develop and retain top IT talent, ensuring the team possesses the skills to support Bristow’s digital goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a track record of successful digital transformation
- Proven experience in managing IT within a global, operationally intensive organization
- Expertise in cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management
SKILLS:
- Strong strategic vision with a hands-on approach to operational excellence
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
