The Team: 

S&P Global Data Delivery is based on a robust, state-of-the-art Software as a Service platform powering the delivery of market data & information to clients. Meeting the most stringent performance standards in throughput, speed, and reliability, the platform supports multiple high-availability applications for professionals in financial and corporate institutions around the globe.  

 

The Data Delivery Operations group in S&P Global focuses on providing clients with world-class service and operational excellence. The initiative focuses on leveraging S&P Global’s highly regarded expertise in financial markets to develop innovative solutions to service client needs. The Data Delivery team is the strategic delivery channel for the Market Intelligence Division and is expected to continue to grow rapidly and expand its responsibilities and value creation for the firm in the coming years. 

 
Responsibilities and Impact:  

As a member of the Distribution Operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, improving, and expanding our Data Delivery service. You will work cross-functionally across Data Delivery & Product agile teams to facilitate a market leading customer experience through our onboarding process. 

  • Providing technical consultancy for API integration 

  • Creating bespoke file configurations 

  • Migrating bespoke client configurations from legacy systems to the Data Delivery platform 

  • Problem solving & technical troubleshooting  

  • Engaging with clients & stakeholders 

  • Creating and maintaining documentation and code samples 

  • Executing the monthly KPI Reporting and generating the operational metrics 

  • Assist in running the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning  

  • Signal, and write specs for application issues and discuss improvements with the Product & Development teams 

  • Drive process optimization and automation 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

Basic Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.  

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a FinTech, Information Technology, Finance or Data background 

  • Expertise with RESTful API, JSON, XML, Python, SQL, Snowflake & GCP 

  • Excellent data analysis skills 

  • Excellent understanding of software systems and development of enterprise applications 

  • Experienced with troubleshooting software issues  

  • Expertise with Splunk, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, Pager Duty, MS Excel & Power BI 

  • Working experience with Agile/Scrum 

  • Expertise in problem solving, analyzing, and understanding client needs and translating requirements into solutions. Client interfacing experience is a plus. 

  • Highly motivated, disciplined, detail-oriented, takes initiative and works well in a team 

  • Strong time management and organizational skills with a continuous improvement mindset Clear, structured, and professional in both writing and speech with experience presenting 

  • Fluent in English
