You are currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Economics, or a comparable field of study and want to apply your analytical talent in a modern HR environment?
As a working student in HR Data & Analytics, you will support our HR Data Team as well as related HR functions in enabling data‑driven decision‑making and continuously developing our people initiatives.

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML’s lithography systems. Through your work in the IT Compliance & Service Continuity environment, you will actively contribute to increasing the operational capability, resilience, and compliance of our critical processes.

Your Responsibilities

As a Working Student HR Data & Analytics, you will:

• contribute to the entire data analytics process — from data preparation and analysis to visualization.

• independently take on analytical tasks, explore new topics, and proactively develop solutions for business needs.

• prepare personnel data, KPIs, and structural data for various stakeholders.

• support the expansion of our data engineering capabilities by understanding, optimizing, and further developing data flows.

• create or optimize user‑friendly dashboards and reports, e.g., in a modern BI tool such as Power BI or comparable visualization platforms.

• experimenting, testing, and debugging to identify and resolve technical challenges.

Your Qualifications and Competencies

• You are enrolled in a degree program in Data Science, Economics, or a comparable field.

• You have an interest in data, analytics, and technical topics — ideally with initial experience in BI tools, data visualization, or an analytical language such as Python or R.

• You work independently, take initiative and want to actively advance data‑driven decision‑making in the HR environment.

• You bring a modern AI mindset, are confident using current tools, and naturally work in an AI‑supported way.

• You work in an agile, solution‑oriented way and adapt quickly to new situations.

• You are committed, a strong team player, and communicate clearly in German and English.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Werkstudent:in HR Data & Analytics wirst du:

• im gesamten Data‑Analytics‑Prozess mitwirken – von der Datenaufbereitung über Auswertungen bis hin zur Visualisierung.

• selbstständig Analyseaufgaben übernehmen, neue Themen aufgreifen und proaktiv Lösungen für Fachbereichswünsche entwickeln.

• Personaldaten, KPIs und Strukturdaten für unterschiedliche Stakeholder aufbereiten.

• beim Ausbau unseres Data Engineerings unterstützen, indem du Datenflüsse verstehst, optimierst und inhaltlich weiterentwickelst.

• benutzerfreundliche Dashboards und Reports erstellen oder optimieren, z. B. in einem modernen BI‑Tool wie Power BI oder vergleichbaren Visualisierungsplattformen.

• experimentieren, testen und debuggen, um technischen Herausforderungen auf den Grund zu gehen und diese zu lösen.

Deine Qualifikation und Kompetenzen

• Du bist eingeschriebene:r Student:in in Data Science, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang.

• Du hast Interesse an Daten, Analysen und technischen Fragestellungen – idealerweise mit ersten Erfahrungen in BI‑Tools, Datenvisualisierung oder einer Analysesprache wie Python oder R.

• Du arbeitest eigenständig, übernimmst Initiative und möchtest datenbasierte Entscheidungen im HR‑Bereich aktiv voranbringen.

• Du bringst ein zeitgemes KIMindset mit, beherrschst aktuelle Tools und arbeitest selbstverstndlich KIuntersttzt.

• Du arbeitest agil, lösungsorientiert und passt dich schnell neuen Situationen an.

• Du bist engagiert, teamfähig und kommunizierst klar in Deutsch und Englisch.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
