We are looking for a Supply Chain Advanced Data Analytics to join our European team in our office in Diegem/Brussels. In this role, you will turn data into insights and insights into action.

You will collaborate with colleagues across countries, support ongoing projects, and help improve operational performance through smart analytics.

What you will do:

  • 1. Advanced Analytics & Optimization

    • Apply advanced analytics to supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities (e.g., optimization, risk modeling).

    • Lead transformation initiatives across liquid and packaged gases supply chains.

    2. Technical Development & Modeling

    • Perform hands-on coding in Python for data manipulation, simulation, machine learning, and automation.

    • Work with large datasets, statistical modeling, and potentially cloud or big data tools.

    3. Solution Design & Collaboration

    • Partner with Product Management to create self-service solutions that enable business adoption of models.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, operations, and commercial.

    4. Strategic Analysis & Decision Support

    • Conduct scenario modeling and cost-benefit analysis for strategic decisions.

    • Prepare and present insights to senior leadership for decision-making.

    5. Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring

    • Lead productivity sessions across sub-regions and identify enhancements to optimization tools.

    • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance and highlight opportunities.

    6. Compliance & Sustainability

    • Ensure supply chain practices align with regulatory and sustainability standards.

What you will bring:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years in advanced analytics, data science, or applied machine learning roles, ideally within supply chain or operations.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., QlikSense, Power BI).

    • Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with statistical packages (e.g., Minitab, SPSS).

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and project management skills.

    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; capable of translating data into actionable insights.

    • Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mindset.

  • Additional Skills:

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-functional, multi-regional environment.

    • Basic project management and facilitation skills to influence and implement solutions effectively.

  • Language: Fluency in English required; a second European language is desirable.

  • Valid Belgian work permit (if not an EU citizen).
