Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Business Development: will be responsible for ideating, developing, and executing new business opportunities for the extended services team & other applicable general merchandise categories.
This individual will also be tasked with objectively evaluating current business models and improving segment income via reduced cost to serve or new revenue generating ideas.

What you'll do...

  • Creating and iterating on long-term growth strategies focused on capturing market share and improving the customer value proposition within Entertainment SBU.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to identify business headroom, using customer insights, competitor activities and market economics
  • Analyzing and educating stakeholders on the competitive landscape to understand and influence trends that are shaping the industry and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
  • Advocating for resource, prioritization and securing the investments needed to unlock. Building support by influencing leadership and throughout the organization for strategic initiatives by effectively communicating goals, project plans, and achievements.
  • Own end to end negotiations and legal contracts with internal cross functional stakeholders, ensuring terms are favorable and align with company objectives
  • Lead and manage regular sales reports and performance metrics to executive leaders. Manage resistance and address operational questions related to the associated programs and 3P fulfillment of these services.
  • Identify, collaborate, and partner with external partners to foster strategic relationships and managing their performance against established KPI
  • Provide strategic leadership – by Creating a roadmap focused on service development, lead LRP and AOP discussions on the services opportunity and execution of long-range plans for growth

Qualifications:

  • MBA or bachelor’s in business preferred
  • Previous experience working in services such as Mobility, Warranty, Trade In, Photo, Assembly & Repair would be an asset
