This position is contingent on a contract award.
Responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support to the Sailor Assistance and Intercept for Life (SAIL) team, including data entry, appointment coordination, and follow-up communications. Assists with maintaining accurate case records and facilitating timely participant engagement under the direction of clinical and case management staff. Mentors and supports new teams members, processes and/or projects.Maintains current schedules for SAIL Case Managers/SAIL Clinical Counselors, using the Fleet and Family Support Management Information System (FFSMIS) to view schedules, make client appointments, and sends reminders. Mentors team members and helps build a high performing team. (40%)
Ensures initial paperwork is sent to clients, follow ups to ensure paperwork is completed, returned, and uploaded into the appropriate FFSMIS case record. (20%)
Performs various administrative tasks including data entry, attending coordination meetings, taking minutes, scheduling appointments, screening and connecting callers, and maintaining referral and community directories. Identifies processes improvement opportunities. (20%)
Tracks and maintains direct service metrics for SAIL Case Managers and SAIL Clinical Counselors. Provides updates to FFSP leadership. (10%)
Obtains and validates information on SAIL resource referrals. Researches the location of the ship/sailor, identifies the correct command point of contact (POC), identifies demographic information for SAIL referrals, verifies the information and submits in the FFSMIS. (10%)
