Caterpillar is seeking a Lean Facilitator in North Little Rock, AR. In this role, you will utilize your problem-solving abilities and LEAN concepts to identify, recommend and guide projects across the factory, supporting improvements and initiatives.

What you can look forward to in this role:

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to support sustainable process improvement by diagnosing complex business problems and providing recommended treatment plans to deliver process improvements through the implementation of LEAN.
  • Manage project tracing plans, ensuring they are up to date.
  • Use 6 Sigma and project management methodologies to manage, and support projects related to LEAN process transformations.
  • Lead, coach, teach and develop others to use the tools and methodologies of LEAN to drive sustained Continuous Improvement.
  • Plan and execute Kaizen events.

A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:

  • Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.

Top Candidates for this position may also have:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a business or technical curriculum that includes a LEAN curriculum.
  • LEAN related work experience or internship.
  • A 6 Sigma Green Belt (through training) and/or have attended training in Agile.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to influence without direct authority.
  • An understanding of financials and analytics.
  • Data management abilities.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

The primary location for this position is North Little Rock, AR.
