Job Title: Program Assistant, Housing Administration
Location: Springfield, MO
Department: Adult Housing
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Job Summary:

Performs clerical tasks and functions to support Housing Administration Directors and team. Responsible for supporting Housing Administration across various regions to ensure clients receive the funding needed while also ensuring necessary documentation is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in completion of routine paperwork
  • Assist leasing coordinators with tenant file assembly, filing of lease paperwork and completion of routine leasing requirements, as is appropriate
  • Complete internal and informal tenant file monitoring
  • Complete internal and informal SCL file monitoring
  • Assist all regions with audit preparations from DMH, HUD and MHDC
  • Complete monthly rental unit inspections in SW Region across all properties (in conjunction and cooperation with leasing coordinators)
  • Assist both Housing Administration Directors with necessary reports, completion of required documents, and other duties as needed
  • Is sensitive and responsible to management needs, such as data collection, program evaluation, development of grant applications, maintenance of various contracts for services, etc.
  • Complete other necessary duties as assigned to support housing administration

Experience and/or Education Qualifications:

  • Possession of at least a high school diploma or GED experience in office is preferred but not required.
