Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization’s business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive supply chain initiatives that enable speed, flexibility, and agility to optimize service and inventory levels that ensure product availability to meet company and supply chain business plan objectives. Define the CoE’s vision, mission, and strategic goals related to supply chain planning.
  • Improve the maturity level of the sales and operations process (S&OP), leveraging process, people, and tools to improve efficacy. 
  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of advanced planning systems (APS) across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of APS tools.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of APS functionalities to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to set standards in master data management (MDM) to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information.
  • Establish metrics, goals, checks and balances to measure and improve performance in the areas of purchasing, planning, warehousing and data management.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align supply chain planning initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Liaison with executive leadership to align strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy and different parts of the business.
  • Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to enhance supply chain decision-making.
  • Develop predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to extract insights from supply chain data.
  • Provide input and justify annual budget needs relating to supply chain planning center of excellence.
  • Ensure new products, programs, projects are successfully integrated into all planning processes and implemented into the operations.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Advanced Planning Systems (ie o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, etc) and proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to drive process improvements.
  • Familiarity with supply chain data science techniques and tools.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Compensation

This job can be performed in Denver Campus with a Pay Range of $146,580.33 - $254,586.88

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
