Job Overview: 

Wintel Engineer responsible for the support, implementation, maintenance of Windows and Intel-based server environments. This role involves managing server hardware, operating systems, and associated applications to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.

 

Job Description: 

 

• Support and maintain Windows-based systems. Include Active Directory, Exchange, File & Print, DNS, DHCP, and Windows related system server.
• Monitor Windows server performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware and software.
• Plan, implement, and oversee IT projects related to Wintel systems, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Plan for server preventive maintenance, implement patching and updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, policies, and procedures related to Wintel systems.
• Support system project implementation related to Wintel systems, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to Wintel systems in the financial sector.

 

Requirements: 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in managing Windows Server environments and Intel-based hardware.
• Experience with Intel-based server hardware and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Redhat Virtualization).
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.
• Understanding of network configurations and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Understand financial sector system environment is a plus
