This position is responsible for developing software and firmware for our cutting-edge modules and subsystems used in both telecom and datacenter applications, such as WSS and ROADM.

Lumentum is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative employee to join our Global Cloud and Networking Platform team in Nanshan, Shenzhen.

Position Details

You will contribute to a number of programs by:

• Developing software & firmware on RTOS, LINUX and QNX systems.
• Implementing new features and improvements according to customer requirements.
• Working with hardware/test/system engineers, supporting them by providing software deliveries/debugging commands.
• Continually working with program managers on the status of the projects via reports and meetings
• Communicating with FAE/customers to clarify requirements and support their tests.
   

Desired Knowledge

• Computer science or related engineering master’s degree
• Be skilled in C and C++ programming languages.
• Be familiar with MCU, embedded system firmware and RTOS.
• Be familiar with Linux OS, driver & application development.
