JOB DESCRIPTION:

Create and roll-out business plans to achieve targets that meet territory objectives by driving market traffic and optimizing product availability

Take accountability in evaluating, appointing, hand-holding & managing of distributors to build them for success to produce excellence in execution

Establish relationships with accounts to drive best in class execution – availability, visibility & engagement

Control customers’ accounts receivable to ensure better cash flow

Negotiate local customer contracts that provide win-win solutions to deliver on account objectives while satisfying the customer’s needs

Demonstrate the superiority of Abbott products from the customer’s perspective, emphasizing the ROI advantages of the Abbott brand

Influence customers to maintain a proper balance of stock and market credit relative to accounts receivable by telling a persuasive brand story that links to increased traffic and sales

Conduct monthly reviews of channel performance and create plans to address lagging channels to meet channel targets

Ensure adequate stock replenishment on a daily basis to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets through efficient forecasting

Build quality customer database , territory information and have competitive landscape of territory/Route,

Ensure implementation, tracking & adherence of Sales Automation initiatives to drive productivity & efficiency in his/her territory

Ensure right recruitment & development of Merchandisers & Nutrition Advisors through frequent coaching & feedback sessions

Act in alignment with compliance and regulatory expectations
