Overview | The Revenue Operations Specialist is responsible for utilizing data analysis and business intelligence tools to track and enhance the company's revenue performance. The specialist will administer and optimize CRM and other sales tools to ensure data accuracy and system reliability. They will design and implement process improvements to optimize operations through automation. This role will support strategic initiatives to drive business growth by generating revenue reports, collaborating on forecasts, analyzing pricing strategies, and presenting analytic solutions.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically savvy, and capable of working effectively with various other departments cross-functionally.

Core Responsibilities | This role includes but is not limited to:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting

    • Create reports to track key metrics for sales and marketing and train users and stakeholders on the use of those reports.

    • Provide actionable insights to leadership regularly.

    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits, cleaning data, and implementing data validation rules.

  • System Administration

    • Configure the CRM system to meet stakeholder needs, including setting up fields, workflows, data imports/exports, and user management.

    • Administer the full go-to-market (GTM) tech stack including all sales enablement tools.

    • Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot system issues, and liaise with vendors and IT teams to resolve system problems.

  • Process Improvement

    • Design and implement process improvements to enhance GTM efficiency

    • Document existing and new GTM processes, and execute end-user training

    • Regularly monitor adherence to process and report on exceptions

  • Sales Support

    • Be an expert in sales definitions and processes including but not limited to sales stages, deal types, pricing, and quoting/contracting.

    • Serve as the first point of contact for the sales team on specific deal questions.

    • Provide sales leadership with timely and accurate performance metrics for regular business report-outs.

  • Research and analyze historical deals, market trends, and competitor activities to inform go-forward sales strategies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on revenue-generating priorities.

  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans aimed at increasing revenue and market share.

  • Contribute to one-time strategic projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Expertise |

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, or other related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

  • 2-4 years of experience in GTM operations (revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, etc.) or a related analytical role preferably in B2B SaaS.

  • Technical Proficiency

    • CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)

    • Data analysis tools, including Excel/Sheets

    • GTM AI tools including call support, coaching, forecasting, …etc.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret data and provide provocative and actionable insights.

  • Previous experience in sales operations, marketing operations, finance, or a related area

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage projects and work independently, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.

  • High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Capacity to think strategically and contribute to the development of revenue-generating initiatives.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs and technologies.

Full-time positions are scheduled to work 40 hours per week, M-F unless required otherwise by projects. Part-time positions are scheduled to work a maximum of 30 hours per week (all part-time positions will be specified in the job title).
