LOCATION: Singapore
REPORTS TO: Regional Customer Innovation Manager, Beauty & Home
This role will provide expertise and work as a key resource for Beauty & Home business unit, responsible for providing home care expertise to Ingredion’s global beauty & home product portfolio and new product development project and advise on beauty & home matters while partnering across all functions and departments to accomplish company objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with manager to build new home care application capability to support regional and global need.
- Support regional sales team by joint customer visit and presenting Home care oriented content for customer inquiries and at customer meetings/workshops.
- Develop existing products new positioning, new products application data and process
- Identify and initiate major technology programs and innovation to meet the needs of Ingredion’s business and strategic plans.
- Work with Business Team to co-create and implement GTM plans by region for focused countries, customers, and segments.
- Provide technical training to distributors
- Proactive on opportunities and solutions by developing scientific materials for internal/external customers and responding internal & external Beauty & Home science related questions.
- Maintain relationships with key customers and sales personnel within Ingredion to ensure effective communication channels are in place.
- Support regional prototype development and marketing materials at trade show and scientific organizations relevant to Home care science and technology, building connections with research organizations.
- Help team to collect market trend and competitor intelligence
- Help manager to prepare the presentation for key stakeholder meeting and customer visits
- Support admin tasks for the B&H team in Singapore
Qualified candidates will have:
- Degree in Science field with minimum 5 years’ experience in technical service, application field in home care category
- Work experience in detergent business companies or home care ingredient suppliers
- Experience designing, managing, conducting, and interpreting lab results preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to research and appraise scientific information and translate it into clear evidence-based messages – has some formulation expertise, managed projects and build application data for homecare customers
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to a range of audiences, both within the organization and at external
- Good commercial mindset
- Ability to work with limited supervision and drive own agenda, asking for support when needed but always taking complete ownership of deliverables
- Willing to travel domestically & international (15-20%)
- Efficiently handling multi-tasking
