Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to assist in the conversion of financial data into a new system over an approx. six-month period. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance and technology in a fast-paced environment. The Intern will work closely with Finance, Operations and IT to support accurate and efficient data transfer and validation.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the mapping and migration of historical and current financial data from legacy systems into the new platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness
• Support reconciliation processes by comparing source data to converted records
• Document data conversion steps, findings, and any anomalies encountered
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful data integration
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information
• Provide general administrative support to the project team as needed

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
