Enterprise Product Manager (C14)

The Enterprise Product Manager is a leadership position in Citi’s Chief Data Office (CDO) within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization. The mandate of COO is to lead the Transformation efforts of the firm to deliver client excellence, improved operating efficiency and returns. As part of COO, the CDO organization is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm’s data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The CDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management. The CDO comprises of four functional groups: Business Aligned Data Leads, Core Data Delivery, Data Enablers, and Data Functions & Partners.

This is a key role within Data Product & Program Management organization which is a key part of Core Data Delivery. The leader will be responsible for ensuring consistent use and adoption of product-specific critical data elements (CDEs) across regulatory and management reports. As part of this, the leader will help define and assist in managing data quality for products (e.g., deposits, loans) in terms of data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. They will partner will Finance, CDO, Tech and LOB stakeholders to manage the end-to end data flows including sourcing and derivations for enterprise CDEs. They will also have responsibility for overseeing all relevant tech deliverables for product data.

This is a newly created role, that will act as a SWAT team of specialized cross-domain SMEs, knowledgeable on Citi systems and business flows, regulatory reporting, management reporting, product domain, etc. The perfect candidate will possess excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for aligning the relevant technology, reporting, and product line teams to triage data quality and other product related issue(s)
  • Partnering with fCDOs or other production teams to open DCRM(s) and ensuring the correct detailed documentation is provided to accelerate and enable remediation of the identified concern(s)
  • Requires breadth of knowledge across Regulatory/Mgmt. reporting, product lines, and Citi systems architectures
  • Alignment of multiple senior team members across Citi and need for attention at pace or escalation
  • Help to build a roadmap to improve and strengthen product data across the enterprise based on reporting needs, transaction testing results and data concerns.
  • Define and manage list of enterprise CDEs critical for key products
  • Assisting with prioritization of features and managing product lifecycle
  • Liaise with business/function/tech partners to drive adoption of enterprise CDEs
  • Leverage AI and machine learning techniques to improve product data
  • Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships.
  • Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
