Sr Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in growth marketing and product expertise to join our team and drive the success of Yahoo Mail. This role requires a deep understanding of both product management and growth marketing tactics, data analysis, and a passion for driving measurable results. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Position Overview:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive tremendous growth, enhance product positioning, and support overall business objectives. This role requires a blend of product expertise, growth marketing acumen, and a deep understanding of market trends to effectively communicate our product’s value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with business goals and drive product adoption.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Design and execute growth marketing campaign to acquire and engage customers.

  • Track and report on key performance marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, optimize strategies, and leverage data-driven insights to maximize ROI.

  • Partner with consumer insights and product management to integrate user-experience feedback in marketing and product updates.

  • Define and articulate clear value propositions and key messaging for products.

  • Work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for product launches.

  • Use analytics and customer feedback to provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  • Develop and maintain a testing and experimentation framework to continuously improve growth tactics and strategies.

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and needs to inform marketing strategy.

  • Ability to manage creative / media agencies on execution of performance marketing campaigns and timeline /budget management 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong focus on growth marketing for a software product.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing and growth campaigns inclusive of paid social, digital, SEM, SEO, UAC, ASA, IRL and more.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, specifically Zeta, and analytics platforms.

  • Extremely organized and can manage multiple projects at the same time. 

  • Has an entrepreneurial mindset.

The compensation for this position ranges from $122,250.00 - $255,000.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
