Job Description Summary:
This position provides professional pharmacy services to patients in retail setting regarding safe and effective medication usage. Responsible for reviewing, verifying, and dispensing medication orders accurately while following all applicable laws, as well as company policies. Works with other pharmacists, technicians, pharmacy manager, and other healthcare providers to care for patients in a patient centered and empathetic manner.Position Responsibilities
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires: B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy; Montana Pharmacy license in good standing with no prior disciplinary actions. Requires current CPR or AHA BLS certification or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire.
Desire: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting, automated medication dispensing stations, Hospital Information System (ex: McKesson Paragon) application experience, competency in basic word processing, spread sheet, and data base software.
