What impact you’ll make:

As a member of the Business Operations organization for Power – Global Services (previously referred to as Lean & Continuous Improvement), you will be an active contributor in accelerating our Lean Transformation journey. You will act as the specialist in application of Lean concepts/principles/tools across our ITO (Inquiry to Order) processes. You will partner with Capacity Expansion Leader to define a pull-based Lean operating system and Lean roadmap covering all aspects of our commercial value-stream.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the Lean Transformation for our commercial processes to achieve operating goals using KPI-based performance management.
  • Be a champion of Kaizen. Facilitate Kaizen events or Lean Action Workouts (LAWO) to drive improvements using transactional Lean principles/concepts/tools.
  • Actively participate in Daily Management and Problem-Solving processes within our commercial value-streams.
  • Support the preparation of Monthly Operating Reviews for Commercial functions.
  • Coach teams within global commercial functions and regions using the Kata process.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within the ITO valuestream. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead cross functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge / experience
  • Extensive experience in facilitating or coaching Lean tools such as Standard Work, Daily Management, Problem Solving and Action-plans.
  • EU Work Permit if located in Spain
  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary. (if located in Hungary)

Desired Characteristics

  • Formal Lean facilitation training/certification and/or a GE leadership program graduate (XLP, ESLP, OMLP, LTT)
  • You are a self-starter with exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear actionable insights.
  • You bring high level of energy with a growth mindset and capable to create followership by inspiring teams.
  • You have a can-do attitude and are comfortable with conflict and debate that are normally associated with change.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,200.00 and $173,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
