Position Description:
The Regional Infrastructure Manager for India and Asia is responsible for leading, supporting, and improving the IT infrastructure landscape across multiple countries in the region. This role ensures stability, security, and scalability of core technology services while acting as a key communication bridge between global infrastructure teams and local business stakeholders. A critical part of the role is shaping, articulating, and delivering infrastructure initiatives in a clear, engaging, and culturally aware manner.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Infrastructure Operations & Support
Oversee day‑to‑day IT infrastructure operations for the India and Asia region, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of services.
Manage regional data centers, networks, cloud services, endpoints, and on‑premises technologies in alignment with global standards.
Monitor and resolve escalated incidents, ensuring effective root‑cause analysis and long‑term remediation.
Coordinate with managed service providers and local IT teams to maintain smooth operations.
Project & Initiative Delivery
Lead or support the implementation of global and regional infrastructure programs including modernization, cloud adoption, security enhancements, lifecycle management, and standardization initiatives.
Ensure initiatives are appropriately planned, executed, and measured, working closely with global functional leads.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement (key focus area)
Translate global infrastructure strategies into clear, compelling regional messages for diverse audiences, including executives, local IT, and business teams.
Communicate planned changes, impacts, timelines, and benefits in a transparent and proactive manner.
Build trusted relationships with regional business leaders through regular updates, presentations, and alignment sessions.
Serve as the regional “voice of the customer,” ensuring business needs and operational realities are represented in global planning.
Governance, Compliance & Security
Ensure compliance with global governance frameworks, cybersecurity policies, and regional regulatory requirements.
Partner with information security teams to drive consistent security posture across all Asian sites.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to enhance infrastructure reliability, user experience, and cost efficiency.
Recommend improvements based on regional insights, operational trends, and emerging technologies.
Leadership & Collaboration
· Exercise oversight and provide dotted-line leadership to local IT personnel across regional sites, focused on coordination, standards alignment, and escalation management, while formal people management remains with local or global line leaders
Foster a culture of operational excellence, knowledge sharing, and accountability.
Support vendor performance management within the region.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi‑country role.
Strong understanding of networking, cloud (Azure/AWS), servers, storage, end‑user computing, and IT security fundamentals.
Proven experience managing infrastructure initiatives from planning to delivery.
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
Experience working across Indian and Asian markets, with understanding of cultural and regulatory nuances.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate in a global matrix environment.
Supervisory/Responsibility:
· Reports to the Director, Data Center Services
Work Environment:
This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility. Although the employee may spend a portion of his/her time in the office area, the employee’s essential job duties may also require the employee to spend a portion of his/her time in the manufacturing area. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.
Position Type:
This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
Travel:
Occasional domestic and/or global travel may be required for this position.
