Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Support & Maintenance Engineer specialized in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our CIAM platforms. Your expertise will help facilitate secure user access, streamline support processes, and implement system enhancements, contributing to the organization's overall security posture and user experience excellence.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in CIAM platforms such as Azure AD B2C, Okta, or Ping Identity
Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or similar for automation
Familiarity with OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML protocols
Knowledge of security and compliance tools and practices
Preferred:
Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, GCP)
DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Overall Responsibilities
Monitor, support, and ensure high availability and performance of the CIAM environment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to identity management and access protocols
Perform routine health checks, updates, patches, and system optimizations
Collaborate with security and development teams to enforce security policies and implement system improvements
Support user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management workflows
Document incidents, support processes, and resolution steps to establish best practices
Assist in deploying updates seamlessly and testing new features
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and end-users
Keep abreast of the latest advancements, vulnerabilities, and best practices in CIAM
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
Required: PowerShell, Bash

Basic understanding of directory services and data repositories
Cloud Technologies:
Required: Azure, AWS, or GCP (familiarity with cloud-based CIAM solutions)

Alternative pathways include significant hands-on experience or certifications in CIAM solutions
Day-to-Day Activities
Daily monitoring of system performance and availability
Responding to support tickets and technical incidents
Performing system updates, patches, and security configurations
Collaborating with security teams to review and enforce policies
Supporting user lifecycle management processes
Preparing and maintaining documentation of support activities, incident responses, and resolutions
Participating in sprint planning and deployment activities with development teams
Regular meetings with stakeholders to understand evolving requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIAM, Security+, CISSP) are preferred
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development in identity management and security practices
