The Role
The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for technical management, design, support, and administration of the Global corporate network sites LAN/WAN.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
1. Network Design & Support: • Design and maintain the LAN/WAN infrastructure, which includes Juniper, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Extreme Networks Cloud Products. • Manage enterprise Silver Peak SD-WAN for better network optimization. • Oversee the administration and technical management of Palo Alto Firewalls and Global Protect VPN Gateways.
2. Equipment Installation & Configuration: • Install, configure, and maintain a range of networking equipment: o Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Extreme Networks Cloud, and Juniper routers and switches. o Palo Alto Firewalls. o Meraki, Juniper MIST, and Extreme Wi-Fi Network systems.
3. System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: • Ensure smooth operation and handle troubleshooting for any network-related issues. • Provide necessary support and address issues promptly, maintaining optimal network performance.
4. On-Call Rotation: • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours and weekend support for network issues, ensuring network uptime and addressing emergencies outside of regular working hours.
5. Continuous Learning: • Stay updated with the latest network
