Summary:

Heibar is a forward moving builder solutions company driven to be a patient and disciplined disrupter of the traditional site-built construction industry bringing Advanced Panelization and products to the industry.     The Field Operations department will be likewise driven and passionate about elevating the industry and bringing advanced building processes to the market.

The Zone Manager is responsible for all aspects of the production, quality, safety and customer satisfaction of their assigned properties.

Progression: 

The Zone Manager progression to growth is to Regional Manager

   Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Production schedule
  • Shipment schedule
  • Material shipments
  • Punch walks and lists
  • Justification of back charges
  • Reports to Regional Construction Manager daily on:

    Completions

    Starts

    Reporting required to customer

  • HR issues onsite with assistance from Regional Construction Manager
  • Coaches both sub-contractors and company field crews
  • Ensures all warranty issues are corrected in a timely manner
  • Always keeps jobsites clean and safe

    Ensures material placement per expectations

    Ensures all debris is disposed of immediately and in appropriate containers

  • Inspects every unit to ensure it meets code and quality expectations
  • Interacts with builder field team as needed
  • Communicates with builder on daily basis or as required
  • Travels as needed from site to site
  • Gives needed feedback to plant on issues in timely manner by using prints, pictures and comments to make sure issue is understood.
  • Provides weekly schedule (broken down by day) to Regional Construction Manager, field teams and sub-contractors.

    Adjusts schedule due to actual performance, weather conditions, or material issues

    Documents reason for any adjustments in schedule including plan of recapturing lost time if needed

  • Provides feedback on field crews, subcontractors and plant performance to Regional Construction Manager weekly in written weekly recap by end of day Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced in most phases of residential construction especially framing / MEP and experience with panelized or modular construction is a plus
  • Strong ability to coach / motivate and hold reasonable accountability for team members in their charge
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to use Excel, Email, Word and other proprietary software
  • Strong values and True North principled leader.
  • Servant Leadership style.
  • Clean driving record and enrollment in motor vehicle record monitoring. 
  • Clean substance test results and submit to periodic testing.
  • Adherence to company policy and values is required.

Physical Demands:

  • This position requires daily travel to communities with active job sites.
  • Regular and frequent communication with customer representatives, team members, and the Regional Construction Manager.  Cell phone will be reimbursed at $50 per month.
  • This position may require work in adverse weather conditions.

Salary Range: 70,000-90,000
